The Ria-Puntal House is situated above the tidal estuary of Villaviciosa, South facing with views of the Sierra del Sueve mountains and the hamlets on the East side of the water. Built on 2 levels with a large lounge-diner and the kitchen on the ground level. There is a built in corner log fire in the lounge. Wooden steps lead up to the top floor with timber floors in all 5 bedrooms, 1 full large bathroom and 1 smaller shower-room. From the smallest bedroom there is access to an uncovered terrace at the rear and a small patch of land. There is a loft that could have access if required for storage. This house is attached in a row of 4 houses that are lived in permanently where each have undergone different phases of rehabilitation. Depending on the desired use, either as a permanent home or a holiday home, certain aspects of cosmetic renovation and minor upgrades would be required to obtain the full potential of this property as a guest house or a front line Beachside B&B.

For boat lovers and people who enjoy water sports this is and idilic spot to take active vacation with the possiblity of chilling afterwards on the 2 beaches or the picnic area that are a mere 5′ stroll from the house. The sports harbour with Kayak rentals and fishing activities is an attraction for holiday makers and their guests and there are various restaurants in the area. The council of Villaviciosa have approved a cycle lane from here to the town which is aprox 9 Km from this area with works due to commence in 2025.

The local road VV-5 from the fishing port of Tazones (5 km) to Villaviciosa (9 km). To the Santander- Gijón Motorway (A-8) is a short 10 km drive. A local Alsa bus stops outside the house. Taxi’s are available on request.
