The Location: The house is situated very close to the large Village of Oia (video) along the Baixo Miño which falls within the route of the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. Oia is a pretty village which has all the amenities and services that one would require as well as a host of eateries, cafes, local festivals and activities.
Communications/connections: Oia lies on the Coast of Southern Galicia, and has many wonderful villages that lie, both towards the south and north, such as A Guardia and the historic fishing village of Baiona, with its magnificent Parador overlooking the Marina and old town. Close by are the spectacular beaches of the Val Miñor. The Portuguese border is but 30 mins away as is the Vibrant City of Vigo and its Airport. Porto and Santiago International Airports are approx. 1,5 hours away.
The Rental: This is a short term rental up to 11 months (starting from September) with the possibility of renewal. The monthly rate starts at € 800 PCM which includes the required non-payment insurance which G&G Relocation can organize for local and international clients. Only exclusive of utility bills (electricity, water, diesel for central heating). Two months guarantee deposit are required (refundable), as well as the first month’s rent in advance.
