The vibrant City of Vigo (video) and its airport are just 15 min. away. The city of Pontevedra with its pedestrianized city centre is also only 15 min. away. Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia, and its international airport can be reached in less than 1 hr.  The international airport of Porto in Portugal is approx. 1.5 hrs away. Galicia has a good motorway network leading to all major cities in the region. From Vigo there are fast trains going to Madrid as well as to Porto in Portugal.
