Description of property
G&G helps international newcomers find a rental and settle into life in Green Spain, covering Galicia, Asturias and parts of Cantabria. We source properties across the full market: portals, local agencies and our own private network. This home comes through that network, introduced by an owner who is open to international tenants. We are not acting for the owner. Whatever we source and wherever it comes from, the service is the same: we handle the finding, the securing and the settling in.

7-Bedroom Family Home for Long-Term Rental in O Rosal, Baixo Miño
Are you relocating with your whole family? This spacious detached home in O Rosal is made for a large household, whether that means several children, grandparents moving with you, or simply everyone having room of their own. It sits in the Baixo Miño, the southern tip of Galicia where the River Miño meets the Atlantic and the Portuguese border.
The property
Around 530 m² of built space on a 700 m² private, enclosed plot. Seven double bedrooms and three bathrooms give a large family real room to spread out, space for everyone to have their own room and still keep a study or a guest room. A large, bright living room, a separate dining room for family meals, and a fully fitted independent kitchen with good storage and workspace. Built-in wardrobes, a storage room, and a private garage. Individual heating. South and east-facing, so it gets sun through the day, and the enclosed garden gives children a safe, private space to play and the family room to eat and sit outside. Fully furnished throughout.
Rental terms
Minimum 12-month term, fully furnished, private garage included. Pets may be considered, subject to the owner’s approval. References and proof of financial solvency are required, if your income comes from abroad, this is exactly the kind of thing we help present so owners are reassured, and we arrange non-payment insurance where needed.
Living in O Rosal
O Rosal is a municipality of parishes spread across wine country, Albariño vineyards, working bodegas, quiet roads. It’s a calm, rural place where people live year-round, with schools, neighbours and a weekly market. The busier summer coast of the Val Miñor, Baiona and Playa América, is about twenty minutes north when you want it.
For day-to-day life, you have local shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants, schools and essential services all within easy reach. Nearby there are river beaches at As Eiras, the natural rock pools of the Pozas de Loureza, and a flat cycling path along the Miño. A Guarda, at the river mouth, is a working fishing town with a proper harbour and excellent seafood. Tui, upriver, is a small medieval city with good everyday services and a bridge straight into Portugal.
Portugal is part of ordinary life here: Valença, Caminha and Vila Nova de Cerveira are minutes away over the river, with a train from the Portuguese side down the coast to Porto. Vigo is about forty minutes north; Porto airport about an hour south.
A practical note if you’re relocating
One genuinely useful thing to know about this area: The national police station in Tui handles immigration locally, so you can register your NIE, apply for your TIE, or complete your EU residency registration there, rather than travelling to Vigo or Pontevedra. Having those appointments available nearby makes settling in noticeably easier, and coordinating exactly those steps, the padrón, the NIE or TIE, the bank account, is part of what our settlement service handles for you.
